Travertine Classic Reference Project: Jumeirah Port Soller Hotel & Spa in Spain

The innovative and luxurious Jumeirah Port Soller Hotel & Spa presents a unique concept that bounds ground, sea and sky in a 360º exhaustive view. This project has made a great use of the Travertine Classic Cross-Cut in several instances of the complex.

The Jumeirah Port Soller Hotel & Spa is composed by 11 inter-connected buildings, 121 luxurious rooms with private balconies or terraces and a remarkable deluxe environment. This exuberant hotel offers a complete viewpoint of the surrounding area in a 360º angle, which produces a direct sensation of floating space, between the sky and the sea.

The interior of the hotel was mainly constructed with Travertine Classic Cross-Cut in a wide range of applications, such as interior flooring, wall coverings, hall cladding and even bath design. In terms of finishings, the materials were divided into two main types – split-face for wall cladding/coverings to reproduce a characteristic rustic effect and polished for flooring, to magnify the luxurious positioning of the Jumeirah hotel group. Moreover, the light beige colouration of the Travertine Classic has been matched with a brownish-golden decoration, which clearly intensifies the natural beauty of the stone.
