The Travertine Classic is possibly one of the most famous Travertines in the world. It is a beige/light brown coloured natural stone, with slight variations in terms of beige colour tones. It can present some darker shaded areas, as well as some white coloured ones. It is characterized by its natural holes, which is part of the Travertine structure.
The Travertine Classic can be mostly found in two forms:
– Cross-Cut: where the slabs are cut agains the veinage. This gives a surface with no veinage but instead a surface composed by shades with different tones.
– Vein-Cut: where the slabs are cut in favour of the natural veinage of this stone. This is the most popularized type of Travertine Classic and it presents a well defined parallel vein.
